Interested in learning about the best practices of philanthropy in communities of color? Join members of the 260 Change Fund for a presentation on the Essentials of Diversity Giving (EDG), a curriculum developed by the Community Investment Network (CIN). As a national network of giving circles, CIN inspires, connects and strengthens African Americans and communities of color to leverage their collective resources and create the change THEY wish to see.
Marsha Morgan, the CIN board chair and Birmingham, AL resident, will be conducting the worksop to inform participants about giving circles, collective philanthropy, and strategies to strengthen philanthropic efforts in communities of color. Attendees will gain valuable insight on effective diversity giving from an experienced philanthropist and founding member of the Birmingham Change Fund.
